Of all our water bottle rockets, this is definitely the most popular one! For something so inexpensive and easy to assemble, the SkyLab delivers a very exciting rocket experience. Water Bottle Rockets?
Sometimes mistakenly called Water Bottle Rockets, these water rockets make use of very strong 2-liter pop bottles. A small amount of water is poured into the bottle, then air is pumped in to the bottle via the AntiGravity launcher that comes with the kit. It’s very easy to launch water rockets from AntiGravity Research: you just stop pumping and the rocket takes off! Never use a water bottle because they are not strong enough; only use a plastic 2-liter bottle that previously held fizzy pop.

Fits on any standard 2-liter plastic pop bottle – You can even try different size pop bottles, as long as they previously held fizzy pop so that they are very strong.
Shock Absorbing Design – everything on the SkyLab Water Rocket is mounted using rubber bands. The nice thing about rubber bands is that they stretch and allow everything to move during the impact of touchdown. So nothing breaks!
Super-Light Expanded Polymer Fins – they assemble easily with rubber bands. The rubber bands allow them to absorb the shock of touchdown.
