Description
Each water rocket nozzle allows you to attach the appropriate launcher to your rocket.
The Single-Stage Nozzle:
The Single Stage Nozzle works with the:
- SkyLab
- SkyLab Extreme
- High Altitude Pro
- and Extreme Screamer rockets.
This is the same nozzle that is included in those kits, and so it is a great spare part to have. They seem to last a long time (we’ve never known of any that ever wore out or broke), but you might need one if you are doing experiments or if you lose your rocket up in a tree.
The Booster Nozzle:
The Booster Nozzle works with the Ozone Probe or Extreme 2-Stage rockets. This is the same water rocket nozzle that is included in those kits, and so it is a great spare part to have.
They seem to last a long time (we’ve never known of any that ever wore out or broke), but you might need one if you are doing experiments or if you lose your rocket up in a tree.
The 3-Stage Nozzle:
The Booster Nozzle for the 3-Stage rocket has a deep cylindrical exhaust opening.
The holding power of the launcher’s yellow filling bulb depends on the internal area of the nozzle, so this one has a very deep cylinder, about 0.75 inches.
Peak thrust is approximately 11 pounds at 100 psi pressure.
The 3-Stage Mid Nozzle:
The Mid-Stage Nozzle for the 3-Stage rocket has a medium deep cylindrical exhaust opening.
The holding power of the interstage release #1 depends on the internal area of the nozzle, so this one has a medium deep cylinder, about 0.5 inches.
Peak thrust is approximately 5 pounds at 100 psi pressure.
The Rocket Car Nozzle:
The Rocket Car Nozzle works with the Rocket Car Launcher.
This is the same nozzle that is included in the Rocket Car Kit, and so it is a great spare part to have, if you have a rocket car.
The Payload Nozzle:
The Payload Rocket Nozzle works with the Payload Rocket. This is the same nozzle that is included in that kit, and so it is a great spare part to have.
They last a long time (we’ve never known of any that ever wore out or broke), but you might need one if you are doing experiments or if you lose your rocket up in a tree.
The Sustainer Nozzle
The sustainer nozzle is the same one that comes with the interstage release, and same as the upper stage nozzle on the the two- and three-stage rockets.
